LARA LUNA CREATIONS

Author & Artist

As an Artist and Writer, my first paperback, Trailer Park Angel, is a perfect poolside read from a Florida 55+ community, where spiritual awakenings meet psychic warfare before 9 AM.

Characters? Bless their hearts, they're truly stranger than fiction!

Welcome to my sacred space

Hello, I’m Lara Luna (aka Laura Barbosa).

I'm a self-taught, full-time artist who creates colorful, expressive work inspired by emotion, energy, and transformation. My painting “Model” was featured on HGTV’s Battle on the Block, and another piece, “Shapeshifter,” was published in Kim Carlsberg’s book The Art of Close Encounters. Three of my works, “Bright” and “Beautiful,” are part of the healing art collection at Community Medical Center in Toms River, NJ, where they bring comfort to patients in Oncology, Hospice, and Outpatient Radiology. These paintings also help support therapy dog visits, offering a bit of peace during challenging times.

Lately, my creative path has expanded into upcycled art. I’ve started collecting discarded bottles and turning them into one-of-a-kind pieces, giving new life to what would have been waste. Saving the planet one bottle at a time. Thank you all for supporting this project, it’s already making a difference.

For many years, I sold and shipped my original paintings around the world through eBay (barbosaart), connecting with amazing collectors and art lovers from all walks of life.

Lately, my path has shifted in a powerful way. I've been experiencing visions of angel numbers and going through a deep spiritual awakening. This journey led me to explore the quantum field and spiritual teachings, insights I share in my very first book, Awakening by Numbers.

Right now, I’m working on the paperback version, and once that’s finished, I have another book in mind, something very unique and close to my heart.

I’m also passionate about helping the planet through my upcycled bottle art. So far, I’ve saved over 300 bottles from ending up in landfills. My goal is simple: to create beauty, inspire change, and contribute to a healthier, happier Earth.

Thank you for being here. Whether you’re drawn to the art, the message, or the energy, I’m honored to share this space with you.
